both Lennon and Harrison were great loses to the music industry and music fans all over the world...but whereas George was obviously past his "creative best", i believe John had a lot more to offer when cut down in his prime....just a couple of thoughts though...
1. take a listen to his material on Double Fantasy and then listen to Macca's "McCartney II" from the same year....Lennon totally outshone Paul's effort, always found Paul to rarely put 100% into his albums unless he was pushed into doing so, maybe had Lennon lived then Paul would have made some truly great albums in the 1980s,apart from "Tug Of War".
2. again, had Lennon lived, would we have seen some sort of collaboration between him and Paul...i think so!, or even moreso, and i dont think so but...would the Beatles have actually worked together again either doing the odd reunion show or on record?
3.guess we will never know and its all speculation now, but its nice to dream about what might have been...and they would have put them dumbass Stones back in the shadows where they belong!
