What is the best beginning to a track

[Jerome]

Don't know about the best beginning to a track but the best intro to a live concert I have ever heard is the prologue to Neil Diamond's 'Hot August Night' - simply awesome - http://youtu.be/I6bsf5L-kE4

I remember that well. Had a mate Steven Immelman - sadly no longer with us - whose mother was hooked on Elvis. Used to play it all the time and that's where I heard it the first time. By the way on both the Diamond & Elvis intro's the drummer plays a key part in catapulting the performance into the next track. Both brilliant drummers too.
