I've seen them live twice.
First time was in the run up to Live Aid, at the Wembley Arena in 1985, and they were phenomenal.
Second time was at Earls Court, near the end of a two year tour in 1992. When the biggest cheer of the night went up for Money For Nothing, I had to remove myself for a while. The band were obviously pretty jaded, and didn't appear to be enjoying the gig at all.
Like any band, they had on days, & off days...
