I know I have 5 that I constantly go back to since I have had the albums in vinyl (now CDs) since 1969 up to 1979 so I've had plenty of listens to the following listed in order of most listens to lesser listens. I have over 2100 records, cassettes and CDs and I have only heard several of them once, several of them partially and a few forgotten ones (out of mind out of sight)...never.
This is a common pedestrian mainstream list but it wasn't so much when they were first released !
I didn't begin to explore other music until 1976 so four of these albums were already being played to shreds for the past seven years or so.
(1) David Bowie - The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars (1972)
(2) The Beatles - Abbey Road (1969)
(3) The Clash - London Calling (1979)
(4) Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin II (1969)
(5) The Who - Who's Next (1971)
Gee they're all Brits ????

The ultimate connection is between a performer and its' audience!
