MH,
In reference to your excellent Frankie Ballard review, I've noticed recently that some new releases are only 30-40 minutes long like our beloved records.
Are they taking the approach of the demo - well it's my debut so let's see how it goes. Bruno Mars' debut comes in at 35 minutes.
The exception is Neil Young's Le Noise (obviously not a debut by him) and it's only 38 minutes. I was really getting into his folk metal guitar distortions and the album was finito !
When I purchase a CD I'm looking for more than 35 minutes. I'm conditioned to the standard 50+ minutes.
Just a pet peeve that I wanted to get off my chest. Sorry, MH.
