Duane was an amazing player, and you gotta admit, the Allmans are survivors. I have all the national releases, and some regional recordings of theirs and listen to them regularly. Hell, I have even visited the house their Mom lived in in Daytona, back in The Allman Joys days. They were to the East coast what The Dead, Airplane/Starship, Quicksilver Messenger Service (you get the idea) were to the West coast. The fact they still play to this day speaks volumes... no, screams volumes about them.
You can live in staunch denile and mark me as your enemy, but I'm just a voice among the throng who want a brighter destiny, and say with me, "We are the New America!" -Greg Graffin
