Think I tried to watch the film once, but couldn't make it through it. It's about a bird for christs sake. No dialogue. Just a friggin bird going through his daily routine. Get up, fly around, go fishin'. I did read the book that the film was adapted from. If you can call it a book. Think it took about a half hour to read. Bird was outcast by the flock and sets out to determine his possibilities at the art of flying. Now before you all go thinking I'm insensitive to the plight of the bird, quite the contrary. Gotta be a bummer, stranded at sea, foraging for food, struggling for survival. Just seems kind of presumptious for humans to pretend to know what animals are thinking. I mean what's next, Jeremy Nottingham Inchworm?
