This cover is of an import, but mine is basically the same. Gotta be in the mood for this, as I must be as I listen. Just takes me back to my dear dad. One clunker and four great tracks. I can just mellow out under the phones. Drimmer Art was not really much of a big band guy, and says so in the liner notes (they had them back then). He preferred the small combos. Maybe he felt lost in the larger setting. Fifteen musicians listed here, of which only three are familiar to me, Al Cohn, John Coltrane and Donald Byrd. Those liner notes also explain how some of these song titles came to be. I always find that interesting, titles for instrumentals. This is a fine set of jazz/big band music from that era. Didn't expect to find any clips from here, so I'll be happy for the one.
