Didn't put an author here because there is not really any one individual. This was put together by Stalins advisors shortly after the war, from interrogations of two of Hitlers main men who were captured. Putting aside the credibility, it's a very good book. I only question that because there is no telling under what conditions the information was extracted if you get my drift. I'm sure it wasn't entirely voluntary. These documents that the book was put together from lay deep in the Russian archives until it crumbled. Very noticable is the lack of anything negative about Russia. According to the book Russia never lost a battle once they were invaded and easily defeated the Germans with hardly any help. I find that hard to believe. Now having put down the sources and the conditions, as I said, it's very good. Covers all of the war years with Hitler, his decision making for each invasion. Became a real page turner towards the end, when all were huddled in the bunker waiting for the inevitable.
