There is something very interesting happening in the Los Angeles music scene that is beginning to hit the mainstream as well as indie music avenues. With the new success of bands like Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros and Local Natives it is hard not to take notice if you are around this area. If you have seen either of these bands or other similar bands like Fight From Above or Saint Motel, there is a definitive vibe that has caught the attention of people tired of the Nickelbacks and Linkin Parks of the previous years. The live shows are raw yet catchy, fun yet insightful, and impossible not to dig. Check out what is going on here...it's worth it.
