I am reading The White Queen by Philippa Gregory. Its a fictional story based on some fact about Elizabeth Woodville, who married the King Of England. She was the mother of the two princes who disappeared in the Tower of London obviously the conclusion by all is that they were murdered, even though nobody knows who by, although the finger normally points at Richard 3rd.
I am finding it interesting, because the other is speculating that the youger boy was actually a page boy sent in instead of theprince, who has been smuggled into hiding.
the theory behind this being, "if you have twp precious jewels, that you want to keep safe from thieves, would you put both in the same basket???"
and it does make sense, if you thought your eldest son was in danger, why would you send in the second one?
interesting
i am also liking it, because Richard 3rd was killed at The Battle of Bosworth, and Bosworth Battle Field isn't far from where i grew up, and i remember a school visit to it as a child
