A stupid sub-title for sure. One of those unauthorized biographies. The kind that make you think, "is that really true?" A lot of unnamed sources which are easy to quote. Treats the queen fairly well, but sure goes after the rest of the family. Mainly Philip, not having much nice to say about the old chap. Details the affairs of all the siblings and even Princess Margaret. I was more interested in the workings of the system. No, seriously, I was. I think Mr. Davies thought the monarchy would have withered away by now. This was written before Dianas death. I give credit for a very well done bio. He could probably write another book on what's happened since he wrote this one. Maybe he has.
