A feast of Funked-up instrumental Rock with Hammond Organ featured heavily.
'60s Stax stalwart Booker T Jones teams up with Drive-By Truckers, and Neil Young to deliver a fabulous album with a total of five guitarists at its' disposal. Predominantly the tracks are originals, but there are a couple of covers.
The guitars sound mostly filthy, and the album has that "live, in the studio" sound that's so effective (don't know if that's how the album was recorded, though).
A cracker...
