My daughter asked me to read this. I did. A story of forgiveness. This guy is on a camping trip with his kids. His youngest daughter is kidnapped and killed. He blames himself for letting it happen. Not his fault of course. He spends five years in his private hell. He receives a note asking him to return to the scene of the crime. He does, to be greeted by none other than God in various forms. Most of the book is this interaction and teaching from The Big Guy, and learning about how and why to forgive. Not for those lacking in the embers of faith. A pleasant read for those who have that.
