Las Vegas indie icons The Killers have been forced to cancel a series of upcoming Asian tour dates.
The Killers have now become one of the biggest bands on the planet. Releasing their new album 'Day And Age' in the summer of 2008 the group entered the upper echelons of the charts.
With their single 'Human' propelling them to stadium fame, The Killers have spent a huge amount of time touring the world. Playing to ever increasing crowds, the band have also been dogged by rumours of a split.
Last year reports in British tabloids alleged that strict Mormon Brandon Flowers was struggling to cope with the band's partying. Denied by The Killers, the reports were only followed by more allegations that Flowers was set to go solo.
Earlier this week the band issued a statement claiming that they were to take a break after their upcoming world tour was finished. However it seems that The Killers could be due to take time off quicker than they anticipated, with a raft of Asian dates being postponed.
Speaking to fans on their website, The Killers revealed that dates in Singapore, Beijing, Hong Kong, Manila, Tokyo and Seoul have all been scrapped.
Brandon Flowers apologised for the move, saying: "The band deeply apologises to their fans and hope to reschedule their shows in these cities soon."
The Killers are, however, set to kick off their Australian tour in Sydney on February 13th.
