I saw the White Stripes perform twice when they toured with White Blood Cells. This is before it was re-released on V2 Records. It was around 2000 or 2001. The first venue I saw them play was The End in Nashville, TN. Then my friends and I went to see them on their next tour stop at the 40 Watt in Athens, GA. Neither venue holds more than 300 people. I remember being particularly impressed with their cover of Dolly Parton's Jolene.
I have not listened to much of Jack White's work on other projects. I'm interested in listening to the Dead Weather's album. I'm a fan of Alison Mosshart from the Kills, the other singer in the band.
