Pretty hot here too today - the howling south easter has finally gone away, but today, tomorrow and the 26th of December are days to stay firmly put if you live on this stretch of coast. Absolute mayhem out there. Everyone and their aunty and their tent goes to the beach for the entire day - traffic is diabolical and general chaos ensues. A couple of lunatics had to be rescued from the big choppy sea after launching a blow-up craft from an especially rocky spot - the kind of lilo type thing you get for a swimming pool. Probably not safe in a tidal pool never mind open ocean. Seriously. I dunno ...
