UK TOP 100'S (#21+)
#23
UK TOP 100 30.05.25 #35

THE TOP TEN:

10. Beautiful Things – Benson Boone (Down 1/Sales fall/71 weeks in chart)
9. Bloodline – Alex Warren/Jelly Roll (NEW)
8. Azizam – Ed Sheeran (Down 2/Sales fall/8 weeks in chart)
7. Blessings – Calvin Harris/Clementine Douglas (No change/Sales climb/3 weeks in chart)
6. Family Matters – Skye Newman (Up 2/NEW PEAK/Sales climb/2 weeks in chart)
5. Show Me Love – WizTheMc/Bees & Honey (No change/Sales fall/13 weeks in chart)
4. Undressed – Sombr (No change/Sales climb/10 weeks in chart)
3. Love Me Not – Ravyn Lenae (Down 1/Sales fall/16 weeks in chart)
2. Pink Pony Club – Chappell Roan (Up 1/Sales fall/28 weeks in chart)
1. Ordinary – Alex Warren (No change/11 consecutive weeks at no.1/Sales and Downloads fall/streaming climb/16 weeks in the chart)

NEW ENTRIES:

84. TaTaTa - Burna Boy/Travis Scott (7.4/10)

I'll take it; there's definitely some spark between the two on the Afrobeat and rap collab – it all feels like they've improved each other, and that's crazy considering I don't like either. This is such a weird and special collab that you don't often hear things like this, and I'm here for it.

69. Leave Me Alone – Renee Rapp (7/10)

Easy to enjoy pop-rock that partly reminds me of Britney Spears but mixed with some modern girl. Reneé brings the character and the energy and creates something that's fun for the dancefloor. Near the end I think she may have given a little too much character for my liking, but it's not the end of the world.

63. Over You – Nathan Dawe/Shayan (6.5/10)

Didn't we leave Nathan Dawe in 2022? Well, he's not the worst; he has some pretty good songs, so I'm not complaining. But this definitely isn't his best attempt at recreating a dance song that radio will go mad over. Sure, it's got the bass hits and the pumped-up DJ sound for the club, but it's missing something… that thing I think may be a better buildup. In his songs "0800 Heaven" and "Heart Still Beating", he slowly gives us that strong, earworm of a hook, and it adds points to my score of the song. Unlike that, with this, Nathan makes the equivalent of a fun dance song that you only may hear again if radio plays it.

32. Gold - Myles Smith (5/10)

From his new EP release, "Gold" has been the one to be featured in the New Music Friday playlist, and I can't say it's terrible, but it's also really general, guitar and singer-songwriter pop. Myles has never gone to any level of high art, I'm well aware, but that doesn't mean he has to rehash the same sound for yet another time.

31. Cliché – Mgk (7.2/10)

Pop and alternative-indie that describe MGK wanting someone to run away with him even if they're better off alone. It's actually an alright listen, not too bad in any way.

19. Can't Decide – Max Dean/Locky/Luke Dean (6/10)

Who are Max Dean, Luke Dean and Locky, and where did this come out of?! This sounds like a song I'd hear when tuning into a random BBC dance show at 10pm. "Can't Decide" is a house/EDM song with an energetic tone and typical vocals that you may hear on DJ music; it's nothing worth your time unless you're deep into the genre because it sounds like a song that would chart at 96 and peak at 80 then drop out. I'm frankly gobsmacked how it got this far.

9. Bloodline – Alex Warren/Jelly Roll (3/10)

Every song Alex Warren makes sounds like a song that you would hear on a Christian wedding reel. Not only is his "Ordinary" song probably going to be the biggest song released in 2025, but his other songs are rising back to popularity; we still haven't forgotten "Carry You Home" in 2025. Goodness, Benson, Myles and Alex & Jelly, 3 artists releasing in the same week, and I got what I expected from every one of them. Soulless and effortless pop music that only has a chorus because they sing higher notes – we need to dump this type of music.

RE-ENTRIES:

99. Unwritten – Natasha Bedingfield
[Is this becoming the mini version of Mr Brightside's chart life?]

95. Wildflower – Billie Eilish
[And still top ten on global Spotify? Oof.

90. Viva La Vida – Coldplay
[Couldn't care less. I've heard this a MILLION times.
