NEW ENTRIES:
94. Pal Pal – Afusic/Alisoomromusic (5.8/10)
'Pal Pal' is a Punjabi love song, which is interesting seeing foreign songs (especially Punjabi) don't chart often. It has simple mastering and engineering, with it serving as an easy-to-digest pop song that doesn't go above and beyond. It has a slower pace and lower pitch sound alongside something that sounds slightly traditionally Indian.
78. Tyrants – Sam Fender (6.5/10)
You can never really understand what Sam's saying, but you just know that it's something emotional. I presume this could be part of People Watching Deluxe; it sounds as good as the collection of songs on that album.
72. I Need To Know – Denon Reed/Cru2 (5/10)
An electronic DJ song which is just a cheap loop, nothing special, and I don't think it needs much of an introduction other than that it's for the club sound.
66. Stateside - PinkPantheress (8/10)
She does it again and even better than last time! This new era by her is looking to be her best yet; the dance-pop has her fun and bouncy feel, which she's known for, and her vocals aren't even annoying to me; I like them.
57. Laho – Shallipopi (5/10)
Afrobeats that don't lift the genre to any new heights use a similar beat to rap and have a normal-paced sound, with Shalli delivering an ok vocal performance that fits the song but doesn't give us extra.
25. Damocles – Sleep Token (3/10)
Really tedious with poor vocals, a simple rock pattern and some piano. Sad that this will probably get traction.
17. Mystical Magical - Benson Boone (7/10)
A step up from 'Sorry I'm Here For Someone Else', this has a melody resembling 'Physical', which is shown more in the chorus. Benson gives a tune which makes you want to dance, but in an elegant way; it's Benson's usual, but it feels like it has more class to it.
11. What Was That – Lorde (4.8/10)
I've always found her voice partly annoying, but I think it shows a lot more on this.
Alt-pop, which showcases that Lorde's album may not be as good as we think.
