LEONARD COHEN "death of a ladies' man" cd, 1977
his seventh studio album...
his signature minimalist instrumentations are gone and we have a soft rock album here...
Wiki says he wanted the Spector 'wall of sound' style here and to a degree he does...
songs are once again stock standard verse/chorus/verse tracks...
still a really good album but one that took a few listens to appreciate but that said
I LOVE THIS ALBUM, just not as much as the previous four...
was trying to figure out who my favourite track sounds like and i just finally nailed it, Father John Misty from his "chloe" album..
