Netflix doco about the making of, the launching of and subsequent first images from the James Webb Space Telescope.

to think of the hundreds of individual elements of things that could have gone wrong during the manufacture and testing of it without the risks associated with its launch and unfolding remotely a million miles from Earth is mind boggling.

you dont have to be a space buff to appreciate this doco (but it helps) but the scale of previously untried technology is incredible.
some fantasic images shown.

to me the JWST is without a doubt one of the wonders of the modern world.

excellent stuff IMO
