first post Lennon death and also first produced by George Martin after he left Beatles...
definitely soft rock and easy listening here but i hint or two of pop also....
as far as 'complete' albums go Macca usually fails to deliver at times but occasionally he comes up with something as good as any Beatles album (band on the run, flaming pie, venus and mars) and this one...
two of his greatest ever songs are on this one including the title track and the superb piano ballad "wanderlust"...
only blemish on here is the cringeworthy "ebony and ivory" which i detest with a passion, everything else is first class IMO...

if youve never heard this track it might be worth taking 4 minutes out of your life to give it a whirl:
