Ancient Apocalypse - Graham Hancock - on Netflix. He postulates that there was an ancient race or civilisation who were much more advanced than academia supposes and that we have lost much knowledge over the millennia. I've read a number of his books through the years but none for some time now.
I have to say, he makes a good case and it's absolutely intriguing to see all the sites. Despite a healthy dose of skepticism as regards what can only be called conspiracy theories, I'm still a total sucker for certain of the mysteries of our world - loved to read about the Knights Templar, etc., so I have enjoyed this so far! And yes - I agree with him (cynicism aside) - we have to be open to exploring what might seem like sometimes wild conjecture before just shutting down ideas. Puzzles are often solved with a bit of imagination, I would think!
