And as for your friend's farm - you can bet your bottom dollar that it has been completely destroyed by now. The whole country is completely stuffed. When I was in SA earlier in the year I bought a gift for a mate of mine who was encouraging his son to start collecting currencies from all over the world. I bought him a 10 billion dollar Zimbabwe note. It cost me 5 bucks!
Years ago my folks took a trip to Mozambique. They drove through Zim and stopped for supplies at a local supermarket. The shelves were completely empty and the only thing for sale was a bag of rotten tomatoes on a table near the cash register. Freedom comes at a heavy cost.
