ROD STEWART "every beat of my heart" vinyl/cd, 1986
from the box set...
his fourteenth studio album...
another album from the midsts of time where my opinion has changed....
ten track, six are rockers, the remainder ballads including a cover of Beatles' "in my life" which i do not care for...
Stewart co-wrote eight of the ten tracks, "love touch" was written by Mike Chapman and obviously the Lennon/McCartney one.
all up though a surprisingly good album i used to dislike.
I LIKE THIS ALBUM
1: here to eternity **
2: another heartache **
3: a night like this ***
4: who's gonna take me home ***
5: red hot in black **
6: love touch ***
7: in my own crazy way **
8: every beat of my heart ***
9: ten days of rain *
10: in my life *
