ROD STEWART "foot loose & fancy free" cd, 1977
his eighth...
again, from the box-set of studio album...
another very good album from Rod (thats three in a row now)....
elements of hard rock on "hot legs", funk on "youre insane", dare i say Prog Rock on the Motown cover "you keep me hanging on" and the usual splash of ballads....
only a couple of covers on here, The Supemes' "(you keep me) hanging on", and the Luther Ingram "if lovin' you is wrong"....
only eight tracks on this album as songs range in length from 4:30 through to 7:28...
another excellent album from Rodney....
I LOVE THIS ALBUM
1: hot legs ***
2: youre insane *
3: youre in my heart ***
4: born loose *

6: if lovin' you is wrong **

8: i was only joking ***
3s - 5
2s - 1
1s - 2
rating: 2.4
favorite is the (almost) Prog sounding Motown cover.
