Not a recommendation as such but some background on a movie being released called Benedetta. And being released on Good Friday no less! I signed a petition calling for the movie to be banned. I am no prude and certainly not a religious nut of any kind but this movie just goes against the grain for me. I could not care less whether women or even nuns use sex toys or have intimate relationships with each other but to depict a nun using a religious statuette/symbol as a sex toy just pisses me off. It's a step too far. How much lower do we have to sink in order to entertain the masses or turn a buck? Am I am not even Catholic! Or religious for that matter. But this is just completely unacceptable to me. It's just perverse.
