his twelfth movie.
set in Seattle around the time of the "world fair".
movie is most memorable for the first on screen performance of a young Kurt Russell in which in his first scene kicks Elvis in his shin!
back to the songs.
not sure why his movie soundtracks get such a bad rap, theyre no worse than half the music in the charts at that time, theyre just not in the same league as those from the British bands of the time.
sure some of the songs would have no life outside the movie but theyre still enjoyable for the most part.
album made the top10 everywhere, and contained a decent sized hit for him in "one broken heart for sale".
