just after I posted the above post yesterday we had a huge downpour, high winds, hail, thunder/lightning etc.
today:
29C/84F
thunderstorms rolled in by lunchtime.
rain was so heavy it was impossible to see 100m ahead.
drizzle/showers all afternoon since that stormfront.
