story based on the autobiographical book of Union Leader Frank Sheeran (De Niro) and the relationship between him,the Bufulino Mafia Boss (Pesci) and Jimmy Hoffa (Pacino).
a story with these dynamics cannot be told in 90 minutes, thus the 200+ minutes and is told as Sheeran is remembering his life whilst in a retirement home.
riveting performances from all three lead characters (as youd expect).
not your typical shoot 'em up Mafia movie.

this one rates up there with the greatest movies of all time for me
well worth three and a half hours of your time for the acting alone!
