nice guys
high pressure extremely dangerous job, I wouldn't do it for the money they get!
those guys should receive medals of honour/valour for just suiting up everyday IMO
Canadian firefighters have just arrived on our East Coast to assist with the couple of hundred serious bushfires burning.
expected to be here over Christmas
our Govt (well, the taxpayer) paid for their immediate families to be here with them for the Holidays so at least if they have a bit of downtime between shifts they have some sort of normality and I have no issue with that whatsoever.
