Thx people - yes, very hard to let them go but you have to make their comfort the first priority. Everything else is secondary. And my vet is first class - Aoife McCormack and her husband Tim are a bloody good team. Been to many vets in my time over the years but these two are the real deal. Both very rare birds indeed. And they honeymooned in SA - so they have taste as well!

Small world . My Russian Wolf Hound (seen below with cousin ) was very fond of Eno’s ‘Music for Airports’ but hated organ music.
