DOMINIC MILLER – Silent Light
This album is Miller’s first on the ECM label. Different to his latest release in that it’s just him on acoustic guitar with occasional percussion courtesy of Miles Bould. I like the hush and breath of it – reminds of Pat Metheny’s One Quiet Night. Lots of room between the notes – it’s like fine dining for ears – beautifully balanced and executed - superb. I think I prefer this to Absinthe.
