Kinda. There’s a boy in a band in the same school of rock as my daughter – they had their end of year concert recently – he must be sixteen and he sounds just like Grace Slick. Astonishing voice - so different. Also – he plays a mean guitar, upside down and left handed. I swear – it’s strung the way a right hander would play it – he just turns it over and carries on regardless. Remarkable.
There’s a lot of busking and singing around here – some truly awful, but there are some good moments too. Once got accosted by a fruit and veg packer in a supermarket who had entered some competition or other and insisted on singing “Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire” at me, which he did rather well! Lol!!
