SLADE "slayed?" cd, 1972:
Noddy Holder and boys' third album...
the first where they've actually honed their trademark sound...
fist pumping chorus lines and simplistic guitar riffs abound...
album was their first to hit #1 in their homeland and Australia...
also made it to #69 in the US where it spent six months on the chart...
four singles off it including the #1 "mama weer all crazee now"...
yes, that title is spelt correct, part of their gimmick was to spell words the way they
sound when spoken...
my favourite of the UK Glam rock bands for sure...
