ELTON JOHN "reg strikes back" vinyl, 1988:
Reggie's twenty-first studio album....
back on track with this one after an inconsistent 1980s decade....
Bernie Taupin is back in the fold here....
some horrible 1980s synth drums but I can forgive that....
a pretty good, solid album from Elton, he refers to this as his "comeback album",
not that he ever went anywhere, but I tend to agree to a degree....
I love half the album, only disliking one track ("goodbye marlon brando") and liking the remainder...
two favourite tracks weren't released as singles though...
