GEORGE MICHAEL "older" cd, 1996:
George's third solo set of just five!...
I own all of Wham's material(all on vinyl except a compilation on cd) and three of
his solo albums....
as much as I prefer "faith" as my go to GM album, this is his penultimate work of genius
in terms of lyrics, music, production and overall sound IMO....
a good mix of pop,dance (kept to a minimum) and mature easy listening tunes...
five singles off this one in the UK, all five made the top3 in his homeland with two of those
being number ones both there and in Australia,
its those two number ones that stand out for ma and show the two sides of his music...
a classy album that sold eight million copies worldwide, probably deserved more but who wouldn't
take eight million if offered it...LOL
