new release albums/singles in the UK for week commencing 2nd March:
eadlining #NewMusicFriday this week with his third studio album ÷ is Ed Sheeran.The Suffolk-born singer-songwriter made history in January when his two new singles Shape of You and Castle on the Hill debuted at Numbers 1 and 2 on the Official Singles Chart, the first time that his feat had ever been achieve. Subsequent instant grat release How Would You Feel also hit the Top 3, peaking at Number 2. With all eyes (and ears!) on Ed this week, will his album sell like hotcakes like those singles of his? We're guessing so!

Other artists releasing albums this week (good luck) include the legendary Alison Krauss, who puts out her first studio album in 17 years Windy City, and Britain's Got Talent winners Collabro follow their two Top 2 albums Stars and Act Two with their third offering Home.
Songs looking to impact the Official Singles Chart this week include Lorde's Green Light, the first new material from the New Zealander since 2015's Magnets with Disclosure. Little Mix are also releasing their new single No More Sad Songs featuring Machine Gun Kelly, while their US radio version of Touch featuring Kid Ink is also made available.
