Inaction is a message. It's shameful that certain people within the Church, including some within the leadership have tried to cover up for these predators in order to protect the Church's image instead of acting to protect the children of the Church. I would be surprised if Pope Francis didn't know about the sex abuse scandals going on, he knows about and comments on the Refugee Crisis, ISIL, US affairs, etc. I hope he changes things.
