I've seen RHPS once, and it was amusing but I do think it's over-rated - and you certainly don't see it for the sake of the music.
Little Shop of Horrors, in my opinion, was a much better film, though the music is just as lame as Rocky Horror. Bizarrely, the voice of the alien man-eating plant was supplied by Levi Stubbs, frontman of The Four Tops.
