Butthole surfers impress!

I googled weird music the other day and the band Butthole Surfers came up quite often! I remember Music Head I believe, posted an album/track by this remarkable band ...featuring the band's only Top 40 hit, from their album Electric Larryland! I have listened to three of their albums so far...Electric Larryland,Hairway to Steven and Independent Worm Saloon! You never know what to expect from this Texan group, avant garde, psychedelica, country, bluegrass,noise,alternative rock, experimental, hard core punk...for the most part it's all here! So deliciously unpredictable and so fun to listen to!!!! When I listen to full albums I want to be engrossed in the music and never bored! Their name Butthole Surfers has hindered their career somewhat ...I wish the Butthole moniker didn't exist but you can't have everything!I intend to listen to all of their nine studio albums...they've been around since 1981 and were active until 2011, that's 30 years of music...they passed me by!
