"Stoner whatever" is a mix of psychedelic rock, hard rock and blues rock and doom metal. Also has some kind of southern rock to it.
The word Stoner is a slang term for someone who smokes weed.
Sabbath is not at all any form of NWOBHM, and stoner metal does descend from Sabbath, they are one of the most direct influences in it.
