What Are You Listening To?
This War Is Ours (The Guillotine Part II) - Escape The Fate

I was inspired by their live show at Warped. Not everyone can drink Monster and shred simultaneously.

Not the best of NY & CH's extensive catalog, but even their more mundane releases are still of good quality.

Grateful Dead - Live Dead

Again, this is not one of my favourite live Dead albums, but I had a bit of an epiphany listening to this, and now like it much more...

&

Kate Bush - The Red Shoes

... and another epiphany. Never been a favourite, but I've kept returning, and everything has now dropped into place. A double epiphany day !!

"Revolve" by the Melvins. This is a band that I haven't really checked out to a great, great extent, considering their massive discography. I really like this album ("Stoner Witch") so far, though.

Have to be honest and say that I would have thought this would have been more appropriately placed in the Jazz, Funk & Blues board.
You probably already know, but for those who didn't/don't, the MG stood for Memphis Group as Booker T. Jones, Steve 'The Colonel' Cropper, Donald 'Duck' Dunn (replacing
Lewis Steinberg) and the late Al Jackson Jr (he was shot and killed by a burglar in Memphis in 1975) were the 'house band' at STAX in Memphis and at the forefront of Memphis Soul/R&B and Soul in general for many years.
