You should check your "Dark Adventure" thread. I gave you a reply with a quick question in there. Also this song only reinforces the question I had for you. I asked you if you ever thought about making any symphonic pieces. What I'm asking is if you ever thought about composing music for an orchestra or a band or a mix (symphony)?

Oh, I didn't realize. Honestly I wouldn't know where to start as far as having a group perform my music.

I don't really have friends actually haha. I just don't really talk to people a whole lot. I play cello myself but I don't have one right now.

Yes definitely. I basically talk to my family and my girlfriend, and sometimes her friends, but other than that one could easily call me antisocial.
http://www.amazon.com/Cecilio-CECO-1BK-M...tric+cello If I was going to get one it would be that. It's beautiful, I've heard it played and it's very high quality, and it's the most reasonably priced one I've found that's not total garbage. I would probably prefer an acoustic electric, but since I live in an apartment that could be a problem because acoustic cellos can get very loud.. Also an electric would probably be better for recording through my guitarlink device.

Hey, that cello is even on sale. If you wanted to buy that cello, it'd be in your best interest to buy it while it's at that price, yeah? Of course, financial situations are different for everyone and I'd assume that you'd have it by now if you were able to get it. Haha.
Cellos are very nice instruments. I used to play in a band in high school and nothing was more uplifting than participating in concerts with magnificent pieces written by great composers. I always wished that the band and orchestra would play together but they only did that on rare occasions.

Yeah it's been at that price for like a year now, but I just haven't had a job. That will certainly change soon though. I was living in a pretty 'nowhere' type town with nowhere to work, but I've moved into the city now so there are plenty of opportunities.
I actually looked forward to going to school when I was going somewhere that had an orchestra class. I was always the first one there in the morning and always the one that was playing something while everyone else was quiet and waiting haha. After I moved to that nowhere town though, they only had a band class. I went ahead and signed up for it anyways, because the teacher said he might have me play guitar, which I thought was awesome because that's my favorite thing to do, and I love playing for people. He ended up deciding that I should play one of the band instruments there though, so I chose the tenor saxophone, which I absolutely love playing, but I ended up quitting the band class after the first semester because I couldn't stand the marching, and the songs were all way too simple for even me being a beginner.

I always thought they separated marching band from band classes. At least, that's what they did at my school. So you played the tenor sax for a while? Do you still remember how to play it? I'm a huge fan of Jazz band. It's good that you're looking for a job. Make sure you pick the right one and making money will seem too easy for you. I absolutely love my job so it makes time fly when I'm working, especially since my job requires me to keep moving constantly. I like to think of it as a workout that I get paid for. ![]() Oh and, don't ever work in fast food. It's very stressful and will push you away from wanting to work. But if that's your only option, every store is different and you might work someplace nice. |
