Hey guys My forte is Jazz, classical and celtic music. However those two types of music arent that popular these days. The one more modern style I like is Celtic rock from bands like the dropkick Murphy's. That type of music seem to be on the rise lately and I thought that maybe its something to do. I play Celtic guitar and Celtic recorder however I am having a hard time figuring out how to integrate them into rock to make a Celtic rock band. The band I am thinking of would include Me playing the celtic part of the songs we create playing the recorder or guitar then I would have a rock guitarist the a base player and drummer.
does anyone know anything about this?

Really you think it would be necessary? I would like one but finding a player would be hard. Thought a Celtic tune by a recorder would be sufficient.

Maybe Horslips would be a great model for your band?
