some concert ticket prices are ludicrous Jerome...
the Stones are charging an average of $500 here...that is pathetic...four guys over/around 70, they just aint gonna be able to do what they did even 20yrs ago!
at least i get to see The Boss for $135 a ticket...thats relaistic, but some of his prices go to $400+ also...!
i cant understand why anyone would pay that for a concert ticket, doesnt matter who it is!
$100 should be enough to see anyone IMO...
we see The Hollies two nights after The Boss...$90 for those guys and im pretty sure those old opo folkies can do what they did back in the day...
Neil Finn in march, could probably charge what he wanted out here also with his back catalogue and loyal fans but $99 for him also!
pretty sure Neil Young was just over the $100 mark last year, likewise Nickelback and Waters.
i still remmeber when $50 was top of the range price(McCartney in 1993/4) from memory(and he could still sing then.
if i pay $248 for a ticket i want to see Beatles or Elvis Presley, not Garth Brooks, who incidently always reminds me of what i'd call a 'city cowboy')
and BTW, i dont rate him at all neither and i like country(real country)
