I'm really looking forward to it, Iota.
We last saw him live 25 years ago at Wembley Stadium. I went there straight from a 12-hour night shift, so wasn't best placed to take it all in.
His last few albums have been really strong IMHO, and I think that whilst his voice has certainly changed, it now seems to have more "character". On his albums from
Time Out of Mind, he also sounds more creatively engaged than he had done for years.
I'd love a time machine to go back & experience his 60's & 70's shows !! If I find one, I'll let you have a go...

I haven't given those new albums a thorough listen yet but from what I've heard I must say that they just don't do it for me. I think he reached his artistic zenith when recording Blood on the Tracks.
And no, you didn't mention that either (I think).
