Indian Film Music is quite different than US Music traditions

In India a singer is solely and only depend on the films to get established as top notch but US singers do it on their own. Their shows are regular, tickets sold n all that.

Well can Internet give such privilege to singers around globe as enjoyed by American singers?

I think I'd like to see the Indian version of American Idol rather than the American version. I think the internet opens up lots of opportunities, but vocalist in India are different than the rest of the world. They have to know how to act, sing, dance and write their music. It is amazing. A lot better than some of the stuff we get here.
