What Are You Listening To?
CRAZY-HORSE Wrote:The Final Cut...i have that one, was actually the first PF album i purchased, it is still pretty good...

now i only own probably six albums by those guys and Division Bell is actually my favourite...love Gilmnour's guitar work and feel of the album....just listening to that one in the dark with headphones on makes me feel ethereal(not sure if thats the right word for it?)

And that's exactly how you should listen to it. Even Gilmour's lyrics point in that direction -

'as you look around this room tonight
settle in your seat and dim the lights'

Check out their album - you might like it - it's prog rock with the fat cut off.

I would describe it (Deep Forest) as tribal electronica but with memorable melodies as opposed to bleeps and blobs. Can't listen to a whole pile of it but every now and then it breaks the routine. ABWH is a must! A couple of samples http://youtu.be/FIj6n2jH4T0 and my favourite http://youtu.be/nqemVfKR3qs
