Let's see what ol Melissa's up to. This is her sixth album, which I have four of. Missing 3 and
5. Interesting that each has gotten a higher score from me. But this is the last I have, and I
don't see getting any more aside from the discount bin. Two love tracks came out of this one,
with nothing I don't like. She seems to have mellowed out over these first six albums and I
don't know that I've heard anything since this album. That means for now, this is my favorite
Melissa album. Shows two singles released of which Angels Would Fall dented the chart at #51.
The album, although not selling as well as her previous, did reach #12. I see there are three
additional tracks on releases of this after mine. Cheated again.

DIRE STRAITS "making movies" cd/vinyl, 1980

Knopfler and Co's third album....
bit of a Springsteen connection with this one...Roy Bitten,pianist for the E-Street Band plays on here, and "born to run" engineer Jimmy Lovine also appeared...
this was apparently the only DS album not to feature a rhythm guitarist....
the first of the truly classic Dire Straits IMO, a hattrick happened with the next two(love over gold,brothers in arms)...
i find it impossible to pick a favourite track from this one...how the hell do you split 'skateaway','romeo and juliet' and 'tunnel of love'...i cant!
